Week 8 (Alternate Assignment) Post 1

I have a business page on Facebook with 160 page likes and 161 followers.  I am trying to get better about posting from my business page and my goal is twice a week.  I would normally only post when I did a photoshoot, but I have scheduled some posts to go out starting next week. I have liked 13 pages from my business page and will work on adding more for sure.  

Instagram is another one I have been using for a while now, but not nearly as much as Facebook. Just today I went in and turned my personal account into a business one and linked it to my Facebook. I added my website on there as well. When I post band announcements I # anything that has to do with San Diego and music, as well as the venue. I have 175 followers and I am following 128. 

Today I went in and switched my personal Pinterest account over to a business one. It was fairly easy to and it allowed me to add my website on there as well. I don’t usually use this account very often, but I wanted to give it a try and see if I could direct some traffic to my website and get some business. As of right now I have 8 followers and I am following 11.  I am new to using Pinterest for business, so I will be looking for ideas and ways to get more followers here. Any suggestions are welcome. 

Tumblr, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter and Google+ are all others I am exploring more. I have a Twitter account, but have never used it and I don’t feel particularly drawn to it.  I also have a Google+ account, but I don’t feel drawn to it either. I don’t believe YouTube is a way that would benefit me and my business. Snapchat and Tumblr are two that I will research a bit more as well, because I think they could benefit my business. I just want to make sure I ease my way into this as I don’t want to mess it up and give a bad first impression by forgetting to post regularly. Once I get comfortable with one I will try and add more.
